In the Poland there aren’t many cities like Piechowice, which spans five geographical areas – Karkonosze mountain range, Podgórze Kaczawskie, Jizera Mountains, Pogórze Karkonoskie and Jeleniogórska Valley. The city and its surroundings have many tourist attractions, of which two natural monuments deserve attention: the oldest cis tree in Poland, 700 years old, and a unique crocus reserve.

Unique tourist attractions can certainly include: Śnieżne Kotły, Wielki Szyszak (the second peak of the Karkonosze Mountains), Szklarka Waterfall, Krokusów Reserve in Górzyniec, Bobrowe Skały and 700 year old Cis tree.

About 100 km of marked tourist routes will take you to unique places away from the crowded main tourist routes. Everyone who is looking for contact with nature in the mountains, peace and quiet will find the perfect conditions for relaxation right here, in Pałacyk Szklarska.

In the nearby forests, mouflons can be spotted by persistent observers.

In the vicinity of Piechowice (Góra Grzybowiec) there is an excellent route for cross-country skiing.

In the city itself there is the stadium of the LECHIA Sports Club, in which sports competitions are organized. Also in the city, at ul. Nadrzecznej, there is a Riding Club “BASKIL”, which is an organizer of horse rallies, recreational rides and runs a riding school.

Piechowice is located at the confluence of the Mała Kamienna and Kamienna valleys at an altitude of 350-480 m above sea level. Within the city limits there are Michałowice and Górzyniec, which have special tourist and leisure values.

Blue and yellow tourist routes lead to the most beautiful and wildest parts of the Giant Mountains. In the center of the city there is a junction of tourist routes leading to the Jizera Mountains, Karkonosze, Szklarska Poręba, Bobrów Skały, Michałowice and Jagniątków.

From Piechowice you can also go to Szklarki Waterfall, Chojnik Castle, Jagniątków or Śnieżne Kotły. The road connecting Piechowice with Michałowice also leads through a unique tunnel carved into the rock.

A well-developed network of tourist routes in the city and the surrounding area (almost 100 km of marked tourist trails) and proximity to the chairlifts and T-bar lifts located in the mountains create very good conditions for practicing various tourism throughout the year.

We are always more than happy to help you plan your recreational trip.
